If you have already rented a truck, ordered a PODS unit, or had a container dropped in the driveway, the hard part is still ahead: getting everything loaded right and unloaded safely. That is exactly the gap our moving labor in Alpharetta fills. You arrange the vehicle and the route; our crew brings the muscle, the technique, and the equipment to make the load go smoothly.
We are a family-run moving company based at 11791 Haynes Bridge Ave in Alpharetta, serving North Fulton and the wider metro Atlanta area. Labor-only help works whether you are moving across town, loading for a long-distance haul, or just need an extra set of trained hands for the day.
Crews work by the hour, so you only book the help you actually need. Call (770) 869-2860 for a free quote and we will talk through your inventory, your access, and how many movers the job calls for.
What Our Labor-Only Crews Handle
The most common request is loading and unloading a rental truck, PODS, or shipping container. We Tetris boxes and furniture so the load is tight and stable, place heavy and dense items low and forward, and strap things down so nothing shifts on the road. A well-packed truck protects your belongings and often means fewer trips.
We also do in-home work that has nothing to do with a truck. Need a sectional, gun safe, treadmill, armoire, or piano shifted to another room? Rearranging a garage or bringing appliances up from a basement? Our crews handle heavy-item moves inside the home so you do not throw out your back or scratch a floor.
Unloading is the same care in reverse: we carry items to the correct room, set up beds, and place furniture where you want it. Tell us what you have and we will tell you the right crew size.
How a Labor-Only Move Works, Step by Step
It starts with a quick conversation. When you call (770) 869-2860, we go over what you are moving, the size of your truck or container, parking and stairs at both ends, and your preferred date — including same-day when our schedule allows.
On move day, the crew arrives on time and does a walkthrough with you first. We confirm what goes, identify the bulky and fragile pieces, and plan the path out the door. Then we get to work: pad-wrapping furniture, disassembling pieces that need it, and building a balanced load in the truck or container.
At the destination, we reverse the process — unloading, carrying to rooms, and reassembling what we took apart. Because crews are hourly, an organized, boxed-up home moves faster, and we will tell you upfront how to prep so the clock works in your favor.
How We Protect Your Home and Belongings
Careful is the whole point of hiring a crew instead of doing it yourself. Before anything moves, we lay down floor protection in high-traffic paths and pad door frames and tight corners where dings usually happen. Banisters, elevators, and narrow hallways get extra attention.
Furniture is pad-wrapped and shrink-wrapped before it leaves the room. Drawers and doors are secured, glass and mirrors are blanketed, and dollies and straps do the heavy work so items are lifted, not dragged. For the awkward pieces — long sofas, tall dressers, oversized appliances — we use proven two- and four-person carries to keep control on stairs and through doorways.
This is how a family-owned company earns repeat customers: treating your house and your things the way we would want ours handled. Have questions about a specific item? Ask when you call for your free quote.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide moving labor if I already have my own truck or container?
Yes — that is exactly what our labor-only service is for. You supply the rental truck, PODS unit, or shipping container, and our Alpharetta crew handles the loading, unloading, or both. We bring the dollies, straps, and pads and pack the load tight and stable. Call (770) 869-2860 with your details for a free quote.
Can you load and unload a PODS or storage container?
Absolutely. We regularly load and unload PODS, other portable containers, and shipping containers. The key with containers is a tight, balanced load so nothing shifts in transit or storage. Our crew Tetrises boxes and furniture, secures everything, and works just as carefully unloading at the other end.
Will your crew move heavy items inside my home without a truck?
Yes. In-home heavy-item help is a common request — moving a sectional, safe, treadmill, appliance, or large dresser to another room, or rearranging furniture and a garage. We lay down floor protection, pad tight corners, and use proper carries so your home and items stay safe with no moving truck involved at all.
How is labor-only moving priced?
Our labor-only crews work by the hour, so you book only the help your job actually needs. The right number of movers depends on your inventory, stairs, parking, and access at both ends. The best way to get an accurate estimate is a quick call — phone (770) 869-2860 and we will walk through the details and give you a free quote.
Do you offer same-day labor help in Alpharetta?
We are open seven days a week and offer same-day moves when our schedule allows, which makes us a good option for surprise container drops, tight closing dates, and weekend loads. Same-day depends on crew availability, so call (770) 869-2860 as early as you can and we will let you know what we can fit in.
