Careful Fragile and Specialty Wrapping

The fragile stuff is where careful packing earns its keep. Dishes are wrapped individually and stacked on edge inside cushioned dish packs, never laid flat, because plates stand up to pressure far better on their sides. Stemware and glasses are wrapped and cell-boxed so they cannot knock together in transit.

Artwork, mirrors, and framed pieces are padded, corner-guarded, and boxed flat when needed. Electronics, like TVs, computers, and audio gear, are wrapped and supported so screens and ports stay protected, and we keep cords and small parts together so reassembly is simple at the other end.

We handle the odd, awkward items too, the lamps, the floor mirror, the box of grandma’s china that has survived three moves. These are the pieces that get rushed and broken when a move is done in a hurry, so we slow down and pack them right.
